The Interact Club of Marians; collected a fund of rupees 24000 which was used to provide a set of 10 benches to schools on MM Hills. This project was initiated by our Parent Club: Rotary Club of Bangalore North. Our Principal Mrs. Asha Sunil gave it a go with an open heart and it was further carried on by the Interact Club headed by our Interact Co-ordinator Mrs. Iqbalunnisa with great zeal.
The benches were successfully delivered to Gorsane and Haleyuru on the 3rd of April and received by happy faces and open hearts.
We’d like to extend our sincere gratitude to Rtn. Balaji from Rotary Bangalore North and Rtr. Rohan from Rotaract Bangalore Orchads without whom this project would be impossible. We believe education is vital and every child deserves to receive it with all the comfort they can get.
