Timings – Group wise once a week
Level One:
LKG to III – Maximum 20 students
Duration 30 minutes

Level Two:
IV to VII – Maximum 30 students
Duration 45 minutes

Level Three:
VIII and above – Maximum 30 students
Duration 45 minutes
  • Total would be of 24 sessions.
  • Session will be once or twice in a week.
  • Students can select Instruments as per the Lab setup given in school.
  • The teacher will be conducting these sessions for 1 hour after the school hours.
  • There will be 12 to 15 students in each batch for each instrument.
  • The teacher will be teaching the FSM BUDDY curriculum.

MARTIAL ARTS

Taekwondo serves as a means of self-protection, giving one the assurance of being able to do so if the need arises. The program is styled to keep the body conditioned, and the mind clear. It provides confidence and self-control.

 

Belt Exam at the end of four months.


The student could participate in Championship Tournaments at the State Level, Zonal Level, National and International Levels.

Karate is an art of self defence with “Empty Hand”, an unarmed martial art in which usage of Kicking, Striking and Defensive Blocking with Arms and Legs are learnt. Karate emphasis on concentrating as much of the body’s power as possible at the point and instant of impact. Body parts targeted for striking surfaces which includes (hand, ball of the foot, heel, forearm, knee and elbow).

Pottery

  • recognise the dimensional qualities
  • making a simple shape from clay – ball, basket etc.

Paper Folding

  • demonstrate skills in paper folding techniques
  • folding paper to form a useable item such as envelope, bag, folder.

Lettering

  • demonstrate a reasonable skill in writing
  • make a caption for the class room or home

Print Making

  • express over lapping of forms
  • printing with vegetables to show overlapping

Decorative Craft

  • identify and use appropriate materials for making decorations
  • making decorations such as streamer, bell, Santa Claus.

Graphic Design

  • discover and identify design elements.
  • examining posters, signs, labels, discussing colour, shape and form
