Team Marian@MUN, Comprising of our IXthand Xth Students Urvi Porwal, Rohan Kantharaj, Afnaas Yousuf and Noor Aiman Rabbani participated in the St Francis School Model United Nations, Koramangala, Bangalore.

Their journey started from the Sept 5th of 2021, when Marian@MUN Team attended the orientation program, followed by two days of workshop. Marian@MUN Team, as first time MUNNERS committed to excel, took up the Challenge to their very first Model United Nations. It was a virtual event which was conducted on the Sep 17th,18th and the 19th 2021.

Marian@MUN team exhibited great zeal and were assiduous, throughout the 3 days event. From understanding their roles as delegates, researching for their dedicated committee assigned to them and to writing up their position paper, their dedication was commendable.

Marian@MUN team members were chosen to speak as delegates for UNHRC (Agenda: Reviewing the Situation of Human Rights in Israel and Palestine) and DISEC (Agenda: Building a Frame Work to Combat the Threats of Fourth Generation Warfare).

We are proud to announce that with limited time and continuous efforts of Marian@MUN team, Member of the team and a class IX student, Noor Aiman Rabbani won the Best Position Paper award of UNHRC committee.
