All children start their school careers with sparkling imaginations, fertile minds, and a willingness to take risks with what they think.
Orientation programme for the academic year 2022-2023 was on 4th of June, 2022. It was a great platform for us to share our wonderful experience of educating our young champions with our new curriculum partners “Chrysalis”. It was very interesting and fun filled session conducted by Mr. Kamalesh our Chrysalis team, he clearly walked the parents through the insight of the Chrysalis curriculum and how the curriculum aims and gauges the learning outcomes in children. The programme was helpful for everyone to understand that we as parents and school needs to work together to built the confidence and smart thinking in our students.
It’s an immense pleasure to thank our Head mistress ma’am Mrs. Vanitha Jacob Deepak for introducing and inculcating such an innovative and learning enhancing curriculum at St. Mary’s Public School.

The first day of school is memorable and eventful for every child. To make this day even more mesmerizing and memorable all our Pre-Primary children were welcome with a colourful balloon arch and to walk their way to class on a red carpet. Children were quite excited and nervous about coming to school and meeting new people. While some children were delighted to experience the new environment and make new friends, others cry their hearts out at the sight of their parents leaving them all alone. However, they gradually adapted to the new experience and environment with the help of teachers and friends.
For nonstop showers of surprise our tiny tots were excited and cherished to wear the golden crown, it was so dazzling to see our little prince and princess running and cheering around everywhere with their golden crown and their smiles, which was also labelled as “MARIAN”.
“Children are a gift from the Lord”, it is true it was an overwhelming movement to see all our tiny darlings sparking around the school after two long years of break due to pandemic. Our kids also strike few posses to click few pictures. To add more fun for the day all the levels of students were presented with creative take away created by their respective teachers.
Nursery: Children were given tiny honey bee finger puppets to cherish their way back to home.
Pp1: Students were given teeny tiny butterfly bracelet to enjoy with.
Pp2: Students were presented with tweety sweetie rocking birdie to fly with.
Children were all amazed and enjoyed a lot on the first day of their school amid of all the cries, laughter and missing moments with all the big emotion of happy first day of school.
