National Wildlife Day is celebrated every year on 4th September to raise public awareness about the importance of wildlife in human life. Wildlife helps to keep the food chain in place and maintain the ecological stability. On this day, people around the world, government and non government organisations, environmentalists, youths and students come together to celebrate the day with an aim to create awareness about protecting the wildlife for our sustainable future. It is a chance to think about what the plants and animals we share this Earth with, do for us – and what we should do for them. It’s also a time to celebrate those who are working to re-establish the natural balance between species.
