Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and warmth at St. Mary’s Public School, Bangalore, on 5th September 2026. The day was a heartfelt tribute to the teachers whose dedication, guidance and care continue to inspire and shape the lives of students.
A special programme was organised by the Grade 10 students, who had thoughtfully planned a memorable celebration for their teachers under the guidance of the Vice Principal, Mrs. Sahera Ara Begum. The event commenced at around 8:30 a.m. and continued until 11:00 a.m. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as teachers gathered to witness the performances prepared especially for them.
The programme featured a delightful array of speeches, dances and songs dedicated to the teachers. Students delivered beautiful and meaningful speeches in English, Hindi and Kannada, expressing their gratitude and appreciation. The energetic dance performances and melodious songs added colour and joy to the celebration. The students performed with great confidence and enthusiasm, making the occasion truly special.
The teachers were called to the programme in an organised manner, beginning with the High School teachers and followed by the teachers of the other sections, including the Pre-Primary section. Adding to the charm of the occasion, the teachers looked elegant and beautifully dressed for the celebration.
Following the students’ programme, the teachers were warmly wished by the students. The celebrations continued with the presence of the Board Members, who joined the teachers to mark this special occasion. Their inspiring speeches were a source of encouragement and motivation, recognising the important role teachers play in nurturing young minds and building the future.
The celebration concluded on a delightful note with a sumptuous lunch arranged for all the teachers. The entire day was filled with gratitude, appreciation, laughter and cherished moments.
