The Albert Barrow Memorial All India Inter-School Creative Writing Competition was successfully conducted on 13 July 2026 at the school campus, bringing together young writers from nine participating schools for a day of creativity, learning, and healthy academic competition.
The programme commenced at 9:00 a.m. with a prayer led by Mrs. Janet- Primary school teacher followed by a devotional song presented by the students of Grades 8 and 9, creating a serene and inspiring atmosphere for the event. Ms. Jisha efficiently compered the programme.
The gathering was formally welcomed by Ms. Wane, English Teacher who extended a warm welcome to the participating students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing nine schools. Parents and teachers accompanied the participants, while Mrs. Jennifer served as the examination supervisor, ensuring the smooth, transparent, and fair conduct of the competition.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Ranjusha M highlighted the importance of creative writing in fostering imagination, critical thinking, and effective communication. The Principal also briefed the participants on the competition guidelines and encouraged them to showcase their originality and literary talent.
The competition provided an excellent platform for budding writers to express their ideas, demonstrate their creativity, and engage in meaningful academic interaction. The event concluded successfully, leaving participants with a memorable and enriching experience while celebrating the spirit of creativity and excellence.
