Visit to Old age Home

“ Do all the good you can, By all the means you can , In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can..”

On 21st of December 2023, we the students of class XA visited Louis SCH Home for Aged, located in Annepalya at Neelsandra. The initiative was a part of our school’s commitment to instil values of compassion and empathy among students, emphasizing the importance of service to the community. As we reached the aged home, the anticipation and excitement among the students was palpable. The serene surroundings of Louis SCH Home provided a tranquil backdrop for the upcoming experience.

“Happiest are those who live for others”. Upon entering the facility, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and residents. The students distributed various essential items, the joy on the faces of the elderly was priceless, and it was evident that our small contribution had made a significant impact on their lives. They showered their blessings and offered a heart warming prayer for our good health, happiness, well-being and  our upcoming board examination.

The interaction between the students and the elderly residents was particularly touching. The experience provided a valuable lesson on the importance of empathy and the significance of connecting with different generations.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Louis SCH Home for Aged for opening their doors to us and allowing our students to be a part of this meaningful experience. The opportunity to engage with the elderly, share stories, and contribute to their well-being has been a profound lesson of compassion and kindness.

This visit has not only been an act of charity but a transformative learning experience that will remain etched in the memories of the students, shaping them into compassionate individuals ready to make a positive impact on the society.

Visit to Orphanage and Old age Home

On 21st of December ,2023 the students Std XB got a opportunity to visit Shishu Bhavan ,an orphanage home and Care Shelter Public Charity Trust. The students voluntarily contributed things such as groceries, toiletries to be distributed to the old age home and the orphanage.

They visited the orphanage home- ShishuBhavan and met the adorable kids and helped them with whatever little they could, it was overhelming. Although they could hardly speak to us but, they understood they were in pain. They left from there with a heavy heart and continued their journey to Care Shelter Charity Trust located in Hennur Main Road. They interacted with the old-aged people who were abandoned by their family members. It was an emotional experience as they related their stories of ill treatment by their own people.

All in all, it was a great experience.
