Christmas is a special holiday that brings people together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. St. Mary’s Public School celebrated this joyous occasion on December 20th, 2023, with a grand assembly filled with festive spirit and cheer.
The program began with the student emcees welcoming the audience, and a prayer and reading of a verse from the Holy Bible followed this. The SMPS Choir then took the stage and enchanted the audience with their melodious carols. The high school students presented a Nativity play that brought the story of the birth of Jesus Christ to life. The Vice Principal addressed the audience, highlighting the importance of the joy of giving during the holiday season. The middle and high school students also mesmerized everyone with their graceful and energetic dance performances.
The leaders of SMPS conveyed their wishes and greetings to the audience, and prize distribution for various inter- and intra-school competitions was held after the Christmas program. The assembly ended with a vote of thanks by a student and the national anthem. The celebration was a magical and memorable celebration of Christmas that brought the entire SMPS community together in a spirit of love, faith, peace, hope, and humility.
