Objective:

The sensitization session at St. Mary’s Public School for students in Class 8 and 9 aims to foster understanding and inclusivity regarding Gender Spectrum (SOGIESC) and LGBT+ issues. The session will focus on creating a safe and supportive environment, promoting friendship, kindness, and celebrating diversity within the school community.

Content:

1. Introduction to Gender Spectrum and LGBT+:
Provide a clear understanding of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC) and explore the various facets of the LGBT+ community.

2. Inclusion and Exclusion in School:
