The students of X STD of St. Mary’s Public School were offered a great opportunity to visit Jain University for an enriching and exciting Entrepreneurship Workshop and Trade fair, WOW (world of work). Our morning on 2nd march 2024 at Jain university commenced with the inaugural ceremony held at 9:00 AM, setting the tone for an enriching day ahead. We were welcomed by the emcees and the students of Jain University CMS, shared insights into the college’s achievements and highlighted the remarkable successes of its students across various fields like sports and also start-ups. We later had a talk by the director of CMS-Jain University on entrepreneurship.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed Chief Guest, Jayanti Bhattacharya of Shark-Tank fame who’s sister Shalini Bhattacharya was an alumnus of Jain CMS and the co-founder of India Hemp & Co. She shared a great deal of knowledge and experience by narrating their journey on how they started their own brand. The brand was also on the popular Indian show, Shark Tank. Her presence added prestige to the event and inspired us with her journey of success.
Following the inaugural ceremony, we were guided to explore the vibrant campus of Jain University. The campus was beaming with activity as young entrepreneurs were navigating their way to experience through various stalls showcasing innovative projects, products, and services.
Participants had the opportunity to visit numerous stalls, each offering unique and engaging experiences. From flavour to fragrance, the stalls provided a diverse array of learning opportunities on marketing, human resource and networking.
The event left a lasting impression on participants, fostering a spirit of collaboration, innovation, and inspiration.
The workshop and trade fair organized by CMS at Jain Deemed-to-be University provided a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, exploration and instilled a spirit of entrepreneurship. The inaugural ceremony, led by the esteemed Chief Guests, set a motivational tone for the day. We were enriched by the interactions with diverse stalls and left the event with renewed enthusiasm, inspiration and love for entrepreneurship.
