“Art and science are two fundamental expressions of the human spirit, reflecting our innate desire to understand and express the world around us.” – John Holdren.
On February 23, 2024, St. Mary’s Public School hosted an Art and Science Exhibition for students in Pre-KG to Std X, in conjunction with the Parent Teacher Meeting for the III Unit Test. Exhibitions provide a platform for students to showcase their creativity and innovation while exploring new concepts that require out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills.
During the exhibition, students presented a diverse range of still and working models related to the biology of the human body, chemical reactions, physical phenomena, and more. They enthusiastically explained how their models worked, demonstrating their understanding of scientific concepts. Additionally, students displayed their artistic talents through various forms of art such as paintings, crafts, sketches, glass paintings, drawings, comics, decorations, and portraits.
Parents and students alike enjoyed understanding the various scientific innovations and artistic expressions of the young and budding minds. This exhibition encouraged students to think critically and communicate their ideas effectively, strengthening their comprehension of concepts. The event made learning enjoyable and memorable for everyone involved.
