It is hard to bid farewell but farewells mean only a new start. The farewell event for Mr Alias P Varghese was held on 7th September, 2023 to bid a fond farewell to a remarkable individual Who played a pivotal role in our organization for 5 years as the chairman of the School. The event was organised to express our gratitude, appreciation and best wishes as Sir embarks on a new journey in life.
The farewell took place at St. Mary’s public School main campus, a setting for a memorable event. The venue was beautifully decorated with balloons photographs capturing the memorable moments of Sir’s tenure.
The event was attended by the vice principal principal, academic head, headmistress, coordinators and all the teachers. The program began with a warm welcome by the vice principal, Mrs Vanitha Jacob Deepak. A beautiful choir was sung by the students in respect and honour of Mr Alias P Varghese. This was followed by sears speech wherein he talked about the progress of the school and the upliftment of the school. He focused mainly on the miles to achieve. However everyone of us should work together cooperatively in order to uplift the school academically in and out. His main concern was that the school should excel not only academically but Co -scholastically as well. Every teacher and the management should work for the betterment of the school now and always in the future.
This was followed by speech of principal Madam who expressed her gratitude and honour for the chairman. The academic head, Mrs. Sharmila also expressed her gratitude towards Sir. Mrs Urmila expressed her sincere heartfelt wishes to Sir as he embarks on a new journey. Mr Kurien Sir took the privilege to express his gratitude towards Sir. A thoughtful and customised farewell gift was presented to Sir as a token of appreciation and remembrance. A moving audio visual presentation showcased the journey, highlighting key milestones and cherished moments. Special farewell cake was cut by Sir followed by refreshments.
The farewell event for Mr. Alias P Varghese was a touching and emotional affair. It was marked by a sense of nostalgia and appreciation. The event provided an opportunity for everyone to express their gratitude and best wishes for Sir’s future endeavours.
