Ms.Noor Aiman Rabbani of class IX has co-authored in a published anthology of 24 writers compiled by Prachi Barot. The anthology – ‘Dreams to Fulfil’ was published by Shahansha Publications and is available on Amazon and Notion Press worldwide. A cash prize was declared by the compiler for the top three authors of the book based on their poetry and it gives us great pleasure to congratulate Ms. Noor Aiman. R for securing the first place. In relevance with the name itself, it is indeed a dream come true!

MAKE IT OR MISS IT
Dreams are very much like basketball.
You have your coach and teammates to pick you up when you fall.
But when it comes to making a basket; you must do it alone.
There will always be a big crowd judging you out there,
But you got to make the shot because its pride you own.
Make it or miss it; you’ve got only two choices;
If you make it, it will be worth the cheery voices.
But if you miss it, it’s not like you quit basketball, right?
You back, workout harder and come back again to fight.
Just like one ball per basket, focus on one dream at a time,
If you wish high ladders of success you can climb.
No matter what jump up high and try to basket your dream!
So, what if you miss it? You give yourself a chance to redeem.
All your talents and abilities will unfold,
When your perseverance, commitment and self-confidence will increase a thousand-fold.
