An Online live debate competition was organised by Rotary Bangalore Social supported by Rotaract District 3190 on the topic
“Online education amidst the pandemic”.
The preliminary round was held on 1st Sep 2020 with around 55 students from various other schools. 11 Students participated from our school and two students, Md. Afnan of class X and Gangothri .T of class IX made it to the finals and received gift hampers from the sponsors.
The final round was held on 5th September ,2020 with 8 finalist, 4 speaking for the topic and 4 speaking against the topic.
Mr.Aaryan Salman, President Global Citizenship Foundationand Youth Leader, UNESCO and Ms.Seema Vikas Gadiya, Founder of Popsicles were the eminent judges for the day .
Mohammed Afnan was declared as runner-up and received a cash prize of Rs.3000/- and a certificate was awarded.
