World Environment Day (High School)

2021 – 22 Photo Gallery

This year World Environment Day was celebrated virtually on 5th June 2021.

The year marks the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030), a global mission to revive billions of hectares of land and the theme is “Reimagine, Recreate and Restore.” The programme began with a beautiful prayer and Bible reading. This was followed by an introduction into the significance of this day. Students explained the current situation of the air and water and its drastic effects on the ecosystem.

This was followed by a video presentation by students explaining about the usefulness of plants in their vicinity and a walk through their beautiful garden.

Students colourful drawings were also displayed.

Principal Mam’s message to students was to inculcate good habits to protect and restore nature and also that the erratic weather and climatic changes was an outcome of our own human deeds. Mam also emphasized the value of growing trees especially fruit trees.

The programme concluded with a video showing the significance of Bees.
