On 25th September 2024, St. Mary’s Public School celebrated World Dream Day, an event dedicated to inspiring students to pursue their dreams and aspirations. The celebration featured various activities, discussions, and creative projects aimed at encouraging self-reflection and goal setting among students.
Dreams are the seeds of our future. They inspire us to push boundaries, take risks, and pursue our passions. Whether your dream is to become a scientist, an artist, an athlete, or anything in between, it starts with a vision. As we embark on this journey together, let’s remember that dreaming is just the beginning; it’s the actions we take that bring those dreams to life.
The main objectives of World Dream Day were to encourage students to identify and articulate their dreams, foster a supportive environment for sharing aspirations and provide tools and strategies for goal setting and achievement. We’ll hear from inspiring speakers who have pursued their own dreams, overcoming obstacles along the way. Their stories will remind us that challenges are a part of the journey, and that perseverance is key.
The program included a brief presentation on the history of World Dream Day and its importance in motivating individuals to pursue their goals. Students participated in a hands-on workshop where they created dream maps, visually representing their aspirations and the steps needed to achieve them. This creative exercise encouraged students to think critically about their futures. An area was designated for artistic expression, where students created posters, drawings, and written pieces about their dreams. These artworks were later displayed throughout the school. Many students expressed newfound clarity about their aspirations and felt motivated to take actionable steps toward their goals.
World Dream Day at St. Mary’s Public School fostered creativity, community, and self-awareness, making a lasting impact on the participants.
