St. Mary’s Public School celebrated a significant program on 29th August, 2024 to celebrate the launch of the Vande Bharat Express launched in Bangalore, connecting the city to the historic city of Madurai. To commemorate this occasion, the school organized a quiz competition and “Pick and Speak” program, engaging students in a fun and educational experience. Mr. Ayub Khan and Mr Sana Ulla Khan, Chief Welfare Inspector, South Western Railways Bangalore Division graced the occasion with their presence.
The quiz competition, comprising four rounds, tested the students’ knowledge and skills in various areas related to Indian Railways, Vande Bharat Express, and the cultural significance of Madurai. The rounds included “Railway Renaissance”, “Vande Bharat Vista”, “Southern Splendor”, and “Speed and Innovation”. Six groups, A to F, participated in the quiz, showcasing their expertise and competing for the top spot.
In addition to the quiz, a “Pick and Speak” program was conducted, where participants were given a topic related to the Vande Bharat Express and had to speak on it. This program encouraged public speaking skills and creativity among the students, making it a memorable experience.
The event was a resounding success, with students demonstrating their knowledge and skills in a competitive yet celebratory atmosphere. The quiz and “Pick and Speak” program served as a fitting tribute to the launch of the Vande Bharat Express, symbolizing India’s progress and innovation.
