On the auspicious occasion of Onam, Kerala’s iconic harvest festival, St. Mary’s Public School organized a vibrant Pookalam competition, showcasing the artistic talents of its students. The event was held on 13th September, the school premises looked colourfu with all vibrant hues and festive fervor.
The Pookalam competition saw enthusiastic participation from students across various classes. Using an array of flowers, leaves, and natural materials, students created stunning art rangoli designs, reflecting the traditional Kerala style. The intricate patterns, vibrant colours, and innovative designs demonstrated the students’ artistic prowess.
To add to the festive atmosphere, teachers and staff were treated to a traditional Kerala lunch called Onam Sadhya savoring local delicacies such as Ada Pradhaman, and other authentic dishes.
