The Interact Club of Marians organized a meaningful event, “Joy of Giving,” on 17th December 2024, embodying the spirit of compassion and generosity. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across Kindergarten to Class X, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff.
The objective of this initiative was to instll the values of giving and sharing, especially towards the underprivileged sections of society. The school community came together to collect essential items such as groceries, toiletries, and confectionery which were distributed to charitable organizations.
Class XA students visited Louis SHC Home for the aged at Anepalya, Neelasandra ,Bangalore where they interacted with the elderly people and handed over the collected items. Class XB students visited Angel’s Orphanage, Shivajinagar, Bangalore51 engaging with the children.Additional contributions were given to the Child Help Foundation in Kadirenahalli.
The students not only delivered the items but also spent quality time with the inmates, understanding their lives and challenges. This interaction fostered a sense of empathy and the realization of how small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in the lives of others. The event highlighted the value of giving selflessly and the importance of community service.

A heartfelt thanks to Mrs.Vanitha Jacob Deepak, VicePrincipal for her support ,guidance and her valuable suggestions. I extend my gratitude to the Operations Team staff for efficiently arranging transportation to the venue and ensuring smooth coordination. A special thanks to Mrs. Pushpalatha and Mr.Anand Raj for procuring the necessary items from D-Mart,Hennur. Together, we continue to build a culture of kindness and service.
