The Independence Day celebration was held on 13th August at St. Mary’s Public school. The event was a grand success, showcasing the diversity and unity of the nation.
The program began with a welcome speech by Umayra, followed by a prayer led by Andree. Jose N Saji delivered a thought-provoking Bible reading, and Syeda Mehek gave a warm welcome speech.
The junior and senior competitions were held, showcasing the talents of the students. Andree emphasized the importance of cherishing differences, respecting beliefs, and working together to build a harmonious India.
A speech on Independence Day was delivered, highlighting the bravery and sacrifices of freedom fighters by Nadeera Khanum. Kritik Balaji’s patriotic song inspired the audience.
Teachers announced the results of various external competitions as well as
the competitions that were held in school. Deepa V, middle school teacher addressed the gathering, with a speech on Independence Day.
Prizes for various competitions were distributed by the Vice Principal- Mrs Vanitha Jacob Deepak, Mr Stalin – HR & Operations Manager-, Mrs Prema Elizabeth – primary coordinator and Mrs. Mariam Mammen- high school coordinator.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Syed Mohammed and the National Anthem.
