It was a red-letter day in the history of India when the country got its freedom on 15th August 1947. It took hundreds of years for us to break the shackles of slavery. People of the country celebrate this festival every year with great pomp and show.
Our school also celebrates this festival every year. This year, we had made all the preparations in the newly renovated building of SMPS especially the flag post area. Rev. Father Siby hoisted the flag on the new flag pole.
Chairman Sir Mr. Alias P Varghese, Principal Ms. Asha Sunil, Head Mistress Ms. Vanitha Jacob Deepak, Scout and Guide Teachers and other management members witnessed this simple ceremony.
