Grandparents’ day was celebrated on 14th December 2024 which was conducted to appreciate the love, care and guidance we receive from our grandparents. We were glad to see many of our grandparents graced this occasion.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp by our esteemed chief guest Mrs. Shaheena Afroz a Retired Teacher and the grandparent of Master Arslan of Pre-KG “B” along with Principal Ms. Ranjusha. M, Vice Principal Ms. Vanitha Jacob Deepak, HR & Operations Manager Mr. Stalin and foundational coordinator Ms. Lokeshwari.D. The program began with a prayer and Bible reading. Our foundational coordinator welcomed the gathering and Ms. Mary David- Primary English Teacher introduced our esteemed chief guest which was followed by felicitation of the chief guest who shared her role as a grandparent in their grandchildren life.
Grandparents were delighted to watch the power packed performance of their grandchildren on the stage. The Choir team from our primary section presented a beautiful rendition. Students from Pre-Kg to Std IV enthralled us with their foot tapping performances. A small skit was performed by our PrepII students which took the audience down memory lane. Our Principaladdressed the gathering by sharing her thoughts on the role of the grandparents.
Funny games and prizes wereorganized for both grandfathers and grandmotherswhich added colours to the event. The vote of thanks was delivered by our Vice Principal and finally the curtains were drawn after singing the National Anthem.
