The Golden Jubilee Celebration of St. Mary`s Cathedral Church, commemorating 50 years of spiritual service, community development and faith in Christ was held with great joy and reverence on 6th July 2025. This occasion brought together religious parishioners and well- wishers to celebrate the remarkable journey of the church.
The main objective of the celebration was to thank Almighty God for His abundant blessings over the past 50 years and to honour all those who contributed to the growth and mission of the church and school. It was a well- organized and spiritually enriching event. The celebration began with a Solemn Holy Mass presided over by His Beatitude` Aboon Mor Baselious` Joseph Catholicose, along with several concelebrating priests.
The Marian family were greatly privileged to be a part of this celebration. Thus, the students of SMPS presented a fabulous Mime focusing on the theme “Say no to Drugs” through expressive movement, portraying the real world. An electrifying band performance by the High school students, highlighted their high energy and dynamic sound. Chairman Sir appreciated the staff for their enthusiastic participation and support on this joyous occasion. The decoration team was highly appreciated by the JSO Society for their colourful back drop and presentable church decoration.
