An Essay Writing Competition was organized in our school 13th September 2025 on the topic “Self-Reliant India” under the supervision of our Middle School Co-ordinator Ms. Joycy Joseph and English Teacher Ms. Misbah. The event was conducted with the aim of encouraging students to express their thoughts on the importance of self-reliance and to develop their creative writing skills.
Students from middle and high school enthusiastically participated in the competition. They highlighted various aspects of a self-reliant India, such as promoting local industries, the importance of innovation, Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, and the role of youth in building a strong nation. Many students also connected the theme with real-life examples, emphasizing the need for unity, sustainability, and responsibility.
The competition was held on the basis of content, originality, clarity of thought, and presentation. The efforts of the participants were appreciated and was an impressive task on their awareness and patriotic spirit which encouraged them to put these ideas into practice in their daily lives to contribute towards a stronger, self-reliant India. The event was a great success as it not only boosted the confidence of students but also instilled in them the values of self-dependence and national pride.
