Cybersecurity Awareness sessions were conducted for Std VIII & IX on 13th December 2024by Mr. Gururaj P, Vice President of CSTA.
The session began with an introduction to cybersecurity, highlighting its importance in protecting personal data and online activities. Mr. Gururaj explained common cybercrimes such as phishing,vishing, hacking, identity theft, and smishing, along with their impacts.
He shared insights on cyber laws and acts designed to protect individuals and provided practical tips for staying safe online. Students were encouraged to use strong passwords, avoid suspicious links, and ways to report any cyber threats promptly.
The session was informative and helped students understand the need for vigilance in the digital world.
