The Alumni Day Celebration of St. Mary’s Public School was a grand success, with a plethora of performances, speeches, and awards that left the audience in awe.
The event commenced with a poignant prayer by Ms. Mariam Mammen – Senior Coordinator, invoking the blessings of the Almighty upon the institution and its stakeholders.
Next, the Bible reading was done by Ms. Prema Elizabeth-Primary coordinator, which was a soul-stirring performance.
The lamp was lit by the Vice Principal, Principal, coordinators and one of the Ex-Marians symbolizing the ignition of knowledge and wisdom.
Ms. Pinky Roy-HOD English delivered a warm welcome speech, extolling the virtues of the institution and its alumni. She emphasized the importance of nostalgia and the need to reconnect with one’s roots.
The welcome speech was followed by a fun-filled “Fish Pond” game, where the audience participated with great enthusiasm.
Next, the Ex-Marians shared their experiences and memories, which was a nostalgic and emotional moment for everyone.
The Principal, Mrs. Ranjusha M, addressed the audience, highlighting the institution’s achievements and progress over the past year.
A special felicitation ceremony was held to honor Afshad Ur Rehman, who scored 100% in Computer Science and was among the top 10 in the country in the ICSE board examination 2024.
The vote of thanks was proposed by an Ex-Marian Lakshmi Biswas 2024 batch, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, Vice Principal and the students for making the event a success.
The national anthem was sung with great fervor and patriotism. It was followed by a sumptuous dinner.
