My experience about SMPS school is pretty good. As a parent I found the staff particularly teachers are very friendly and approachable. My child is very happy, the teachers are good at nurturing an developing the children’s academic skill as well as social interaction and productive play. Apart from studies school engages the students to participate in various cultural activities like Sports day, Independence Day, inter house competition etc, each and every child is given an opportunity to participate in the cultural events.
Online classes are really a great initiative during this phase of lockdown to bridge the gap. Moreover, it is very interactive and engaging. Teachers are cooperative and they are making the optimum utilisation of resources through which they can make the concepts even more clear. All PPT’s videos, worksheets sent by teachers are so good and informative. It totally reflects the kind of hard work, time and energy that all teachers are putting in preparing interactive and informative lessons. Both my kids (My son in Std VIII my daughter in Std IV) are in your esteem school they both are really enjoying interactive lessons sent by teachers.
I would like to extend my gratitude by thanking Principal Madam Mrs. Asha Sunil our Head mistress Madam Mrs. Vanitha J Deepak, our teachers and all other staff (Management) for successfully conducting the online classes in this pandemic situation. The nursery has a warm and welcoming family atmosphere. I feel it develops a great scence of community cannot believe how well my children have done. As a parent, we not only look at it from just activities point of view but also look behind the struggles and efforts of these online classes are so commendable… we as a parent want you to know how grateful we are to have you all as teachers. The teaching style really engages the kids and gets them pumped up and excited about learning for the next online class. In this unpleasant situation the way teachers planned a curriculum and effectively implemented it digitally, its highly appreciated. The teaching at this school is very innovative and caring and they follow a child centric approach towards educating young children, we are extremely happy with the performance of our children. As all of us know that our country is passing through difficult times the phase of corona virus pandemic and everybody is at home our economy and children’s education has been highly affected but in such difficult times too all your teachers are taking extra efforts and are in charge of your students by making them study online. My child loves school and enjoys every day. As a parent I am completely satisfied with the curriculum which is really well designed and encourage the students to become confident in grooming their personalities. The school has clean and hygienic environment for each child. It has a big Library, Computer lab, Audio- visual room with a projector and smart board. The teachers are efficient and well educated. They encourage students to participate in all the school activities. They are well determined, loving and caring.
Due to lockdown, schools are closed and online classes have been started. The online classes are like live classes where all students ask their doubts and teachers resolves them. These online classes are going quite smoothly and they are really interactive. Teachers give daily assignments and also provide with study materials. Power point presentations (PPT). Sometimes they play recorded lectures. They also make children to do activities in art, craft and drawing.
These online classes have improved the quality of education and made the learning process more interesting. I appreciate the efforts of the school management and all the teachers who are giving their best for our children’s education.

I, Parent of Syeda Fouqiya, student of Std V B feels proud in sharing my journey with St. Mary’s Public School.
My association with the school began way back in 2005 when my niece joined this reputed institution. Since then I have a very pleasant experience with the school. My elder son joined the school in Std V and passed out in 2018. I saw him grow not only in his academics, but also as a responsible person.
My daughter joined in Prep I and I am extremely happy to state that she is a Marian. The School provides a loving and caring environment. My daughter enjoys going to school. She is filled with new ideas and enthusiasm when she is back home. The faculties are outstanding, they not only impart knowledge to the children, but help them showcase their leadership skills, take up new challenges, enhance their confidence, respect their peers and above all, inculcate moral values so that the children are groomed to be good human beings. The faculties provide an atmosphere where in the students get personal attention, feel safe, secure and blossom like flowers, so that they pass out of the school with flying colours.
The activities conducted by the school be it Annual Prize day or Annual Sports day where children showcase their cultural talents as well and are honoured for their performances, the school also conducts activities like fund raising for flood relief, visiting the old age home, orphanage for the children with utmost enthusiasm and joy.

My daughter Trupti.G. Nayak is studying in St. Mary’s Public School, since L.K.G and now she is in Std VI. In all these years l can proudly say that this is the best school l have ever seen. It gives quality education. I really like the “slow and steady” kind of their style adopted. They do over burden the children. Every teacher is so encouraging and supportive. I think my child is blessed to have such teachers.
Apart from studies they are encouraging children to participate in co- curricular and extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, spell bee, public speaking, etc. They also conduct Annual Day Program and they honour the meritorious students right from L.K.G to 10th std. This boosts the competitive spirit among students; the sports day is held every year. In addition to this there is also an eco- club, scouts and guides which help develop social behaviour of the students.
During this pandemic the school has taken a very important role in running the virtual classes. The principal had arranged a virtual parent-teacher meeting and described all the difficulties they have faced in starting the virtual classes. She took the opinion from all the parents and she did not force the parents to pay the fees for the whole year. She has given the option to pay the fees in instalment basis, which has helped the parents a lot. Now the classes are running very smoothly. All the teachers are responding very well. Hats off to them. I really appreciate their patience. I am really proud to send my child to this school and l can strongly recommend this school to everyone.

Children are affected the most due to the current ongoing pandemic, as they are left indoors and are restricted in having outdoor activities. In this condition it is very important for them to get engaged in learning rather than spending their time watching television programs, playing video games etc. “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today”. This is exactly what has been done by the management and teachers of St Mary’s Public School. Understanding the current situation, they have acted and provided all the arrangements for conducting the virtual classes ensuring the learning pace for the children. The classes conducted in the earlier stages faced certain issues. But later both teachers and students realized and the ongoing corrections have been made and it is really worth for the children. The Independence Day Celebration needs to be applauded as all of us were involved i.e. parents’ teachers and the students. One of the best things seen is the friendly and lovable manner in which the teachers are interacting with their students. We should salute the efforts of each and every teaching staff to make this happen.
Last but not the least they conducted online exams too. As a parent I wanted to see how my daughter would attend that exam as she could haven an open book exam. But I was happy to see that my daughter did not opt the easy way out. After the exams she was cross checking the answers and found one answer wrong. For the sake of understanding, I asked her why she had not opted to look and write the exams. She said that although her teachers are not able to keep a vigilant watch, she did not want to break their trust ‘ I feel this is the success of the school. St. Mary’s Public School has not only taught them lessons or portions but also instilled in their students the morals of life. Ultimately this is what our children will take forward in their whole life. Really appreciate all the staff of St. Mary’s Public School for their dedication towards the empowerment of society and value education.
