Our school conducted a Drug Abuse Awareness Program on 01/12/2025 in collaboration with the Bengaluru City Traffic Police and the Education Department. The session was led by Sub-Inspector Ms. Bharathi R, Health Inspector Mr. Nizar Ahmed, Police Constable Ms Prema, Counsellors- Ms. Haniya , Ms. Vanitha Vanaya, and Ms. Vani from Bangalore, representing the East Division Women Police Station, Shivajinagar. Their collective presence and expertise made the program both insightful and impactful for our students.
The Drug Abuse Awareness Program was conducted for the students of Std VI to VIII on the 1st of December, 2025 at the St. Mary’s Public School, Queens Road, Shivajinagar, Bangalore. The purpose of the workshop was to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage healthy and responsible behavior.
The session was informative and interactive. Students became more aware of the dangers of drug abuse and understood the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. They expressed that the session helped them make better and safer choices.
The Drug Abuse Awareness Program was successful in spreading an important message: “Say NO to drugs and YES to a healthy future.” The school plans to continue such programs to ensure students remain informed, confident, and responsible.
