St. Mary’s Public School celebrated Karnataka Rajyotsava on 1st November 2025 with great pride and enthusiasm. The event honoured the state’s 70th anniversary of formation and showcased Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage.
The celebration began with the flag hoisting, dignitary welcome, lighting of the lamp, and rendition of the Karnataka anthem. Students presented a variety of cultural programs, including welcome and folk dances, a speech on Karnataka’s history, a skit on Rani Chennamma, and a vibrant tribal dance. A notable highlight was Kannada songs performed by HOD English Ms. Pinky Roy, and the Principal, Dr. Ranjusha M, reflecting unity and respect for the state’s culture.
The event concluded with a high-energy dance by high school students, leaving the audience filled with pride and admiration for Karnataka’s cultural diversity.
