Presented by Std X A :5 JUNE,2025
On the occasion of World Environment Day, a special morning assembly was conducted on 5 June,2025 by the students of Grade X A, with the powerful theme: “Save Earth”. The stage was beautifully adorned with artwork and visuals reflecting the importance of protecting our planet, adding an impactful backdrop to the entire event.
The assembly commenced with a prayer, seeking blessings for a greener, safer Earth, followed by a Bible reading that emphasized the role of humanity as caretakers of nature. These opening acts set a spiritual and reflective tone for the program ahead.
A well-prepared student talk on World Environment Day was then delivered, which shed light on the history, significance, and global efforts being taken to combat environmental issues. The speech urged everyone to take small, consistent steps in their daily lives to contribute toward sustainability.
One of the highlights of the assembly was the thought-provoking skit titled “The Courtroom of Nature.” This creative performance featured powerful characters like Mother Nature (the judge), Earth, Humanity, Mr. Plastic, Miss Smoke, Oil Spill, and lawyers representing both the environment and human interests. The skit skillfully portrayed the pressing environmental issues in a courtroom drama format, allowing the audience to reflect on the consequences of human actions and the urgent need to act.
Following the skit, a news reading segment was presented by a student, sharing real-time updates and positive global initiatives toward environmental conservation. This helped create awareness and linked the theme of the assembly to real-world actions and current affairs.
The Principal’s address was inspiring and deeply informative. She emphasized the growing dangers of plastic pollution, air pollution, and environmental degradation. Her words reminded everyone that the Earth is not only our home but also a shared responsibility, and that youth must lead the way in protecting it.
The assembly concluded with a warm and appreciative vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all the performers, coordinators, and teachers who made the event a success. The audience left inspired, with a renewed sense of duty toward environmental protection.
This impactful and creative assembly by Std X A was a memorable tribute to World Environment Day and served as a powerful reminder that the time to save Earth is now.
