The joyous spirit of Christmas filled the corridors of St. Mary’s Public School as we celebrated this wonderful festival with great enthusiasm and fervour. The celebration, held on Friday, December 20, 2024, marking a day of boundless joy and festive cheer.

The preparation for this grand celebration began a day prior, with students showcasing their creativity through class bulletin board decorations. What made this activity particularly special was the students’ independent effort, crafting decorations entirely by hand without the teacher’s assistance. The competition brought out remarkable artistic talents, with results eagerly awaited for the celebration day.

The morning celebration opened with a soul-stirring prayer by Aleena Maria of IX B, followed by a meaningful Bible reading by Rohan Thomas. Our talented emcees, Ayra Rahath from

VI B and Samuran Nida from V A, conducted the program with remarkable poise. Ms. Janet our Primary Science Teacher’s warm welcome speech set the perfect tone for the festivities that followed.

The cultural program was a delightful blend of music and dance. The school choir, meticulously trained by Ms. Blessy the FSM Music Teacher, delivered a mesmerizing performance. The students of classes III and IV brought festive cheer through their vibrant dance and melodious carol singing, while the girls from classes VII and VIII captivated everyone with their graceful dance performance.

Our Vice Principal’s Christmas message resonated deeply with everyone present.
