A one-day RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) camp was conducted on 5th January 2025 at Jindal Public School, organized by Rotary Bangalore North. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Rotarians, who welcomed the participants and set the tone for the day. 15 students from Classes 8 and 9, accompanied by Mrs. Mehraj, Hindi faculty, attended the camp.
The first session focused on personality development, emphasizing the key traits needed to become an effective leader. The students also learned about the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cyber-security, gaining awareness of how these fields are shaping the world. The importance of food for the mind, body, and soul was also discussed, emphasizing the connection between overall well-being and mental health.
The post-lunch session focused on time management, where students were introduced to practical techniques for managing their time efficiently. The session also included a group activity on leadership, where participants actively engaged in discussions and exercises that promoted teamwork, decision-making, and leadership skills.
To acknowledge the students’ active participation, all the participants received certificates at the end of the camp. Additionally, they were awarded coupons worth Rs. 400/- from Sapna Book Stall. The day was filled with learning, discussions, and skill-building activities, making it an enriching experience for all the participants.
