On 27th November, Saint Mary’s Public School observed Constitution Day or the Samvidhan Divas with great enthusiasm and reverence, highlighting the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

Mrs. Gayathri Devi delivered the welcome speech in Kannada, ensuring that the significance of the day was understood by all. She emphasized inclusivity, marking the celebration of Constitution Day.

Mrs. Deepa V our Middle School Teacher then took the stage and eloquently elaborated on the historical importance of Constitution Day. Her speech captivated the audience as she highlighted the guiding principles of justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity that form the cornerstone of our democracy. Mrs. Gayathri Devi further simplified the essence of the Preamble in Kannada, making it accessible to everyone. She then led the assembly in an oath-taking ceremony to uphold the values of the Constitution. Teachers and students, in unison, repeated the lines, pledging their commitment to these ideals.

The event was both educational and celebratory, fostering a deep sense of respect for the Constitution.
