Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration

St. Mary’s Public school celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with great enthusiasm and cultural fervor, commemorating the formation of Karnataka state. The program was conducted by students of Classes VII, VIII, IX, and X under the guidance of Incharge teachers Mrs. Gayithri Devi, Mrs. Padmavathi, and Mrs. Sridevi.

The celebration began with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by the singing of Naada Geete, Karnataka’s state anthem. This set the tone for the rest of the program.

The lighting of the lamp symbolized the illumination of knowledge and culture. A prayer song by Class VIII students invoked divine blessings.

Alia from Class VII A read a meaningful Bible passage, emphasizing unity and harmony.

Trupthi G. Nayak from Class X A presented a captivating welcome dance, showcasing Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage.

Nihaarika from Class IX A delivered a thoughtful welcome speech, highlighting the significance of Kannada Rajyotsava.

Darshitha from Class VII impressed the audience with her informative speech on the history and importance of Kannada Rajyotsava.

Students from the primary section introduced Karnataka’s state symbols, showcasing their knowledge.

A melodious group song by Classes VII and VIII filled the air with patriotic fervor.

Faiza Khan from Class VI B mesmerized the audience with her mono acting performance.

Disha from Class IX A proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to participants, teachers, and staff.

The program concluded with a sense of pride and unity among students, teachers, and staff. The celebration reinforced the importance of Karnataka’s culture, language, and history.
