On 27th September 2024, St. Mary’s Public School celebrated International Tourism Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was organized to raise awareness about the importance of tourism and to celebrate the diversity of cultures and places around the world. Students from various classes actively participated in a range of activities designed to foster their understanding and appreciation of travel and tourism.
The highlight of the event was the creative presentation of travel brochures made by students on their favourite destinations. Each brochure showcased the unique attractions, cultural significance, and historical importance of the chosen places. Students then presented their dream destinations in front of the class, expressing their desire to explore these places someday. This activity not only improved their research skills but also boosted their confidence in public speaking.
Students submitted pictures of famous landmarks and scenic spots from around the world. They accompanied their submissions with short talks on the significance of these places, covering aspects such as historical relevance, cultural importance, and natural beauty.
The celebration of International Tourism Day was a great success, provided our students with an opportunity to broaden their horizons and appreciate the beauty and diversity of our world.
