The students of St. Mary’s Public School (SMPS) showcased remarkable talent and diplomacy at the Anthony Claret Model United Nations (ACMUN) conference held on July 13th 2024. The delegation from SMPS participated actively in various committees, displaying a high level of debate and negotiation skills.
Abdul Raheem Zaid, representing SMPS, was honoured with the High Commendation award for his outstanding performance and insightful contributions to the discussions in his committee. His ability to articulate complex issues and propose effective solutions impressed the conference organizers and fellow delegates alike.
Furthermore, Mehrish Sana, another bright talent from SMPS, secured the prestigious Best Delegate award. This accolade not only recognizes her exceptional leadership qualities and diplomatic finesse but also highlights her significant role in shaping consensus and driving productive debate within her committee. Mehrish Sana’s achievement was accompanied by a cash prize of 5000, which underscores the conference’s recognition of her exemplary performance.
