The much-anticipated Fresher’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and energy on 14.06.24 at St. Mary’s Public School, Venkatappa Block. This special occasion marked the beginning of a new journey for the fresher’s, as they were warmly welcomed into the Marian family.
The event kicked off in school’s Auditorium, which was beautifully decorated with vibrant balloons and crepe stripes. The ambience was filled with excitement as nursery, preprimary and other students from different classes gathered together. The coordinators, counselor and Venkatappa Block faculty gathered to make the day memorable for the new comers.
The event commenced with a delightful blend of cultural ritual by welcoming our Principal Mrs. Ranjusha, Vice Principal Mrs. Vanitha , coordinators and freshman. Later, Jumanah Fathima of class II did bible reading.
It was followed by prayer by Mohammad Fariz of class III warmly welcomed the new students with his welcome speech. A special mention goes to the H.O.D of Kannada Mrs. Gayathri Ma’am and the students of class IV and V, who beautifully presented the invocation song.
One of the highlights of the day was the introduction session, where fresher’s had the opportunity to introduce themselves. This session helped break the ice, allowing new students to feel more comfortable and connected with their peers and seniors.
The Principal, Mrs. Ranjusha, extended her heartfelt welcome with an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of hard work and dedication. The Principal’s words set a positive tone for the day, encouraging the fresher’s to make the most of their time at St. Mary’s Public School. The nursery, pre-primary and primary students showcased their talents through singing students were encouraged by our Principal ma’am.
As the event drew to a close, Mrs. Lokeshwari Ma’am, extended the vote of thanks. The day ended on a high note with a group photograph, capturing the smiles and excitement of fresher’s. Fresher’s day at St. Mary’s Public school was more than just a celebration; it was a celebration of new beginnings, friendships, and a promise of bright future. The warm reception and the joyous atmosphere left a lasting impression on the new batch, setting a positive foundation for their journey ahead.
