The investiture ceremony was held on 26th June, 2024 at St. Mary’s public school main campus. The program began with a grand band procession, escorting the chief guest, Rev Father Joel George Philip to the stage. Javeria led the prayer, followed by a Bible reading by Aleena Maria.
The welcome speech was delivered by the MC, who warmly welcomed the chief guest and students. The chief guest addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of leadership and responsibility. The principal’s address highlighted the school’s vision and goals.
The pinning of badges was a significant moment, as the newly appointed head boy and head girl, Abdul Raheem Zaid and Trupti G Nayak, were honoured. The house captains, vice captains and the prefects of all the houses were also honoured with the badges and flags.
This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony, led by the Vice Principal, Mrs Vanitha Jacob Deepak.
Mrs. Pinky Roy introduced the head boy and the head girl.
Abdul Raheem Zaid delivered an inspiring speech, urging his fellow students to work together and strive for excellence. Trupti G Nayak’s speech emphasized the importance of teamwork, leadership, and compassion.
The school anthem was sung with enthusiasm, followed by a vote of thanks by Umme Hani. The program concluded with the national anthem.
