The 35th Annual Sports Meet of St. Mary’s Public School was held on November 15, 2025, at the MCC Ground. The event was a grand success, with students, staff, and parents coming together to celebrate athletic talent and sportsmanship.
The chief guest was welcomed with a ceremonial escort by the Scouts and Guides. The programme began with a prayer, followed by the school anthem and a well-coordinated March Past by the school band.
The sports captain administered the oath, after which the chief guest officially declared the sports meet open. Students enthusiastically took part in events such as throwball, volleyball, shot put, long jump, and relay races.
A major highlight was the aerobics display by the girls of SMPS, showcasing excellent coordination and energy. The Mass PT display by the students was equally impressive and received high appreciation.
The prize distribution ceremony recognized the winners of all events with medals and certificates. The event concluded with the lowering of the school flag and a vote of thanks by the sports captain. The 35th Annual Sports Meet was a memorable celebration of teamwork, discipline, and sporting excellence, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
