The students of Class 9A conducted a well-organised special assembly on the theme “Punctuality.” The programme began with the school prayer, followed by the school anthem, creating a disciplined and inspiring atmosphere.

The highlight of the assembly was a thought-provoking skit that beautifully conveyed the importance of punctuality and its role in building discipline, responsibility, and success. The students also presented the news, covering national, international, sports, and school events with confidence and clarity.

The assembly concluded with a motivating message encouraging everyone to value time and make punctuality a part of their daily lives. The programme came to a close with the singing of Vande Mataram, followed by the National Anthem.

The special assembly was informative, meaningful, and well appreciated by the students and teachers for its effective presentation and valuable message.

George Hess Literary Competition

The Father George Hess Memorial Literary Competition 2026 was held on 25th June 2026 at Avishkar Academy, Halasuru, Bangalore. It was a zonal-level competition featuring seven events: Creative Writing, Painting, Poem Writing, Declamation, Quiz Competition, Story Writing, and Debate Competition.

A total of 11 students from St Mary’s Public School participated enthusiastically in the competition and showcased their literary and creative talents. The students were escorted to the venue by Ms. Wane, who guided and supported them throughout the event.

The school achieved commendable success, with students securing prizes in five events. The winners were: Syeda Sarah Seenen -X A (Winner – Declamation, Junior), Aiza Sabir – X A and Syeda Rida – IX A (Winners – Debate, Junior), Aiman Zoha – XA (Winner – Poem Writing, Junior), and Rasha M -VIII A (Winner – Painting, Sub Junior). These students are the participants for the upcoming regional level who will be representing St Mary’s Public School. Their achievements brought pride to the school and reflected their hard work, dedication, and the encouragement and support of their teachers.

Rangotsav International Art Competition Award Winners – 2025-26

In the academic year 2025-26 school received 55 entries for international competition. It was conducted in the month of February. Mohammed Fadil Khan received International first prize for cartoon making,

Aiman Ikram (IX B)2 nd prize for colouring ,Hajira (II A)4th prize for colouring and Mehvish Fatima (IV A) 4th prize for colouring.

15 Art maestro awards ,30 international medals and 6 consolation prizes.

Freshers’ Day

Freshers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 11 th June 2026. The program was organized to warmly welcome the new students and help them feel comfortable in their new environment.

The event began with a prayer and reading from the holy Bible which was followed by a welcome address . PPT presentation was done by our academic head Mrs. Sheela Charles which highlighted the activities and motto of our school.

The new students actively participated and shared their wonderful thoughts and talents to the audience which motivated other students. The cheerful atmosphere helped them build confidence and make new friends. Small refreshments were also distributed to the students.

The Freshers’ Day celebration was a grand success. It created a positive and friendly environment for the newcomers and marked the beginning of a joyful learning journey at our school.
